Mahars are described as intelligent flying reptiles resembling pterosaurs with dangerous psychic powers, who keep the local tribelets of Stone Age human beings in subjugation. They are said to be an all female race, This is the only drawing that I've been able to find.

Their arms and legs were proportioned more in conformity with human standards, but their entire bodies were covered with shaggy, brown hair, and their ...

The Pirates

I wanted the Pirates to look as if they had spent their life on the sea and in the sun. I also wanted them to have chiseled, sneaky features. I like the way these turned out. Not all the pirates will be bad, some will offer help and quests but the player will never know who he/she can or can not trust.

I recently tried to help someone out with a new race. I thought that perhaps I could figure out how to help but alas, my effort was useless. I did however learn a few new things from the experience, enough for me to attempt it on my own. It may be that nothing ever comes of this but here is my new subterranean race WIP.

Since they live underground, I gave them large eyes. Sound carries a long way in caves so their ears are smaller than an average persons and they have a wide ...
