Welcome to the forum and thanks for the support. I'm sure you know what it's like to be tired of all the crap you catch on forums. Don't misunderstand that comment, your forum is one of those that I feel most comfortable on. I will remain a member as long as I am welcomed.

Don't worry. I didn't assume you meant my forum, but rather forums in general and I agree. And it's not just forums. You've seen me go crazy about some of the rude things people have said about my mods just because they didn't take the time to fully understand what I'd written or said about it. It definitely helps to have someplace where you call the shots about the things that are yours and can say to the disruptive ones 'Don't let the door hit you on the way out.'

Anyways, as I said on my forum, I didn't want to make 'commitments' where the Pellucidar project was concerned, just because I don't want to not be able to keep my promises, but if I can be of help on a simple texture here or there or help you with forum graphics then give me a yell.

I don't really expect anyone to make a commitment. Before I started this project I watched several other big projects. The Underdark and the colored rooms projects, just to name a couple. I realized that it would be next to impossible to get modders interested in a project and came to the decision that I would be alone on this. I know that almost everything in this mod will have to be done by me alone. I can accept that.

When I visit other forums I see excellent modders being insulted by people who don't appreciate what they are doing. People give bad comments and ratings to mods and talk about what should have been done. They are never satisfied and because of their rudeness, Modders don't want to get involved with anything but their own ideas.

I am still working on the Colored Rooms project and I plan to continue but that is all I will be doing other that my own mod.

I think what grinds my gears the most is how the people giving the rude comments are ones who usually have never tried to mod for themselves.

I could be a snot and go moan at the people who made the Apachii Goddess Store for example, because I like some of the stuff in it but not all - not to mention it's for a body mod I don't use. But I don't because I have no right to expect them to cater to me, not to mention I am grateful for the free meshes and textures - grateful for the hard work already done! Instead of moaning, I do my own work to make it compatible for the way I play. (This is my current personal project.)

I use that mod to and I love it. especially the free wigs. About the only thing I don't use are the frilly dresses from the goddess at the bottom of the stairs.
