The best tutorial videos (avi/wmv format) that I have found , to date, for blender is Greybeard's Blender Tutorials found at the link below

Greybeard's Blender Tutorials

The Character Tutorial videos by Jonathan Frammingham were very important in teaching me the basics of modeling in blender.

Another excellent beginners video tutorials set is the vidios produced by super3boy and can be found on youtube or at his forum.
